Hi everyone! As I’m closing in on completing and publishing my memoir, “The Last Ride In To Readville,” I’ve created a blog as a place to post excerpts from the book, and to share with others, insights, thoughts, ideas, and resources about family and growing up experiences. Hope you can check it out!

Hi everyone! I was born and raised in Boston, and after graduating from Hyde Park High School in 1975, embarked on a 28-year career in the United States Air Force before coming back full circle to Massachusetts and retiring in 2003. Along the way I earned an M.A. in Community and Social Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, in 2004, and work now as a USAF Civilian during the day, and teach occasional Psychology and Sociology evening courses as adjunct faculty at local universities. Sounds good Mike – can’t wait to read more – even though you think your family had issues – they were probably like many other families out there
